Spiny lobsters found in Ogasawara islands were believed to be
a variety of"Long-legged spiny lobster" ( Panulirus longipes ) .
But reserchers found that they are endemic species in Ogasawara
and named "Aka iseebi" in Japanese on 26 Jan 2000.
